I heard a rumor that there was an IMAX catagory on Jeopardy last night. Did anyone see this?

Nope, but I remember seeing a question about IMAX on "Win Ben Stein's Money" several months ago.

My wife was recently annoyed by having to read me the *game-winning* question from the "Trivial Pursuit Millenium Edition":
"What film system utilizes 70mm film and projects on to screens up to 80 feet high?"

heh. Of all people to get THAT one.
The answer, of course, is Imax. (sorry Iwerks)

This seems to be the "Imax references in popular culture" discussion, so I'll put this in, too; On the "Drew Carey Show", Drew was advised by his buddies that taking a date to see "The History of Flight" (?) at the Cleveland Imax theater was a bad place to take a date.
Any others?
(and anyone from Cleveland care to explain why your theater is not a good date venue?) :)

The Jeopardy! show that aired on Jan. 3 had a category named "IMAX Films." The correct responses were Everest, Grand Canyon, Mysteries of Egypt and Mission to Mir. The round ended before the $500 question was revealed. (If you subscribed to MaxImage!, you'd know this--it's in the January issue.)

Should we tell Alex Trebek that technically speaking there is no such thing as an "IMAX film," and that only one of the four was an Imax Ltd. release?
