Hi all, Well, I never thought I'd see it happen but a small domed screen entertainment center is on the market. Although this system appears to be mostly for virtual reality and/or training purposes, can entertainment programing be far behind??? According to the product sheet it is "...The world's first fully immersive, truly portable, multi-user, single projector hemispherical display system..." If you want to check it out here's the web site. http://www.virtual-reality.com/products/products.html I wonder if 1570 programs will be released in HD, DVD, or whatever format these systems use. |

| I wonder.... Do you need a little circus midget to sit at the top of the Dome with a focus pendant? And maybe some cove lighting around it, and a little slide projector for a sponsorship slide.... |

Hmm......I'm not a "little person" (gotta be politically correct), but I can operate a focus pendant and ride a unicycle. Do I get the job? :) http://members.home.net/imaxguy Instead of the little slide projector, I'll just pass around my viewmaster... On a side note, our F2K coloring contest with band and spectators was a hit at the Opry Mills IMAX. They actually trusted me to be a judge... http://members.home.net/atthemax Pat "Imaxguy" Caldwell |
